   The leading search engines, Google, Yahoo! and Microsoft, use crawlers to find pages for their algorithmic search results. Google offers Google Webmaster Tools, for which an XML Sitemap feed can be created and submitted for free to ensure that all pages are found, especially pages that aren’t discoverable by automatically following links.

   Search engine crawlers may look at a number of different factors when crawling a site. Not every page is indexed by the search engines. Distance of pages from the root directory of a site may also be a factor in whether or not pages get crawled.

   For most small business websites, I charge a $200.00 a month fee whit no contracts. The services can be complete in about four months for most websites but you can cancel at any time.

   I do Pay Per Click setup, optimization and management for $100.00 a month. Once the ads have been tested and optimized for best click through and conversions in Google, we can then setup Yahoo and MSN accounts.

   anywhere from 2 to 20% for PPC and blog set up and promotion is usually a contract basis, decide how many hours you are going to devote to it and then price your hours accordingly…

   I typically charge $150/hour for SEO services that include on-page optimization, link building, and linkbait strategizing. I don’t engage in any of the bogus search engine submissions, though.

   For PPC, I charge the same rate for setup, along with a monthly fee equal to 20% of the PPC spending

   Blog setup and promotion are also billed at the $150/hour rate.
